The james kingham project (jkp) is a community rehabilitation project, based on social learning to enable and empower people to gain more control over their use of alcohol and supports individuals in believing ‘it’s ok not to use drugs’.
Alcohol Outreach Worker, james kingham project Luton
37 hrs per week, salary £20,494 per annum, subject to continued funding
Key responsibilities:
To provide outreach support and rehabilitation programmes for people with alcohol related problems, and/or support to their family in a variety of outreach settings including peoples own home, GP practices, Hospital and other agencies. Promote and support the james kingham project (jkp) in conjunction with the Team.
2 X Alcohol Worker, james kingham project Bedford
Both posts are 37 hrs per week, salary £20,494 per annum, subject to continued funding
Key responsibilities:
To provide support and rehabilitation programmes for people with alcohol related problems, and/or support to their family. Promote and support the james kingham project (jkp) in conjunction with the Team.
For above posts you need to have initiative and enthusiasm, and be flexible in your approach to this client group. You must be able to work under pressure, have excellent communication skills and be able to work late nights.
